Heathrow.com - Heathrow Airport main page
The world famous London Heathrow Airport is very big and can sometimes be daunting for new travellers. This review will provide lots of information about the airport and how to get through it...

Heathrow is a hub for many airlines including........................................ And more....

But Heathrow also holds the gateway to London making
it one of the most busiest airports in the world but don't worry.
Detailed signage should get you through safe and sound.....The airport has a very clear security System which follows the same as all other airports in the UK. Below is a detailed map of Heathrow's 5 currently 4 terminals

Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is home to quite a few airlines the main ones being United Lufthansa and more. This small terminal is one of the veterans of Heathrow airport making it a swift and easy run through
Check out this map if your flying from Terminal 1

Here is the Terminal Departure Lounge at the top and Check-In Below for info on how Terminal 1 looks..

As you can see the terminal has a maximum walking time to the furthest gate of 20 minutes. At every LHR terminal mobility services are provided for the elderly and disables

The airport also has a wide range of restaurants which makes duty free a breeze.......

Toilets are easily accessible and there are many shops for all ages..
Terminal 1 Duty Free

Terminal 2
This airport terminal is now closed but will re-open as the Star Alliance terminal

Terminal 3
This is one of the biggest Heathrow terminal and definitely one of the most used

This airport has many different Duty free areas and has any mobility transport for disabled and Elderly

There are a great variety of restaurants and different shops in case you have a long wait .

This is the terminal where walking could take up to 20mins to the furthest gates. But dont worry there are many shops on the way for kids. And many lounges are nearer to these gates for business and first class passengers

Passenegers can expect a great array of coffee shops including the traditional Starbucks all the way to the more complex types of cafe's

The terminal has a lot of space so I doubt you will feel claustrophobic in a terminal of this magnitude.

Arrivals are big with a lot of space and parking is big.....

This terminal is a very large terminal so do follow the appropriate signage to get to the appropriate gate......

Terminal 3 looks amazing from the inside and outside. I hope you like travelling through here...

This airport used to be the hub for British Airways before they moved to Terminal 5. The terminal is now home to many other airlines.

The duty free is brand new and renovated and so is the outside making it look very pretty. Airlines such as Air India fly from here

Also the airport is wide making times to the furthest gates around 20 mins but dont worry many shops along the way shouldn't make it boring.

Being quite quiet the airport journey is a breeze but sometime it can be busy but don't fret the airport terminal has a lot of space .

The arrivals section has many different cafe's so even your driver home can have a bit of a rest.

Flight Connections are simple. However to connect to other airlines you will have to have quite a long bus ride as the airport is on the south side of the main complex

Terminal 5

This is the main terminal for British Airways with smaller little terminals A,B,C this is the biggest Heathrow Terminal. But this is just as easy going as the rest. The quality simple yellow heathrow signage can get you through as easily as the other terminals .

Terminal 5 was created a few years ago and it does look it a beautiful new innvoative designed terminal great for airport and flying enthusiasts

The airport has Terminal A with gates mainly for domestic flights this is the biggest complex where check-in and arrivals are complete

The rest are reachable by step-free transit these terminals are generally quiet and used for long haul departures.

The gate level of terminal 5A has the most  and best duty free shops with lots of different types of shops restaurants and places to eat. Including Wagamama, giraffe and more. Dont worry about having an appetite .

Terminal 5B and C mainly have only a few shops making it clear and not busy

Dont be daunted by the transit it is very simple to use as long as you remember your gate number..

The airport for flight connection is very simple especially if you're using a british airways flight
